Who We Are
The Cape and Islands Fire Chief’s Association represents the interests of all the Fire Chiefs on Cape Cod and the Islands. The association’s mission is to coordinate and collaborate on key fire services issues that affect all of the fire departments on Cape Cod and the Islands. Some of the more prominent issues include recruitment and retention of full-time and volunteer personnel, housing for newly hired firefighters and mutual aid planning for our Island departments.
The Association meets monthly and is governed by a Board of Directors that appoints and works with a President, Vice-President and Secretary/Treasurer. The goal for the Cape and Islands Fire Chief’s Association is to increase visibility in job opportunities for Cape Fire Departments as well as providing an information repository to access town and fire department websites and additional information.
