Firefighter / Paramedic

The Town of Wellfleet is seeking a well-qualified individual for the full-time position of Firefighter/Paramedic. The starting salary is $72,970.12, with additional education incentives.

Minimum Requirements:

· Massachusetts EMT-P certification.

· Successful completion of a comprehensive physical examination and the Physical Abilities Test administered by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Human Resources Division.

· Complete comprehensive psychiatric evaluation.

· Preference will be given to candidates with training equivalent to Firefighter I/II.

Upon hire, the selected candidate must attend and complete the Massachusetts State Fire Academy Recruit Program.
